Tebajima Stay | Casa TEBA

Casa TEBA is a private, entire-home traditional Japanese house (kominka) located on TEBA Island in Mugi Town, Tokushima.
TEBA Island is a historic fishing village that has flourished since the 1800s. In 2017, it was designated by the Japanese government as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings, and its beautiful historic streetscape remains to this day.
From the second floor, you can enjoy panoramic views of the sea, the harbor, and the island town.

The highlight of Casa TEBA is the open and airy living room on the second floor overlooking the ocean.
Through the large windows, you can take in not only the expansive sea but also the harbor and the island’s townscape, allowing you to fully experience the slow, peaceful rhythm of island life.

On the first floor, you will find a kitchen, dining area, bathroom, and two bedrooms. The second floor features a spacious living room, one bedroom, and a balcony.
The house can accommodate up to 6 guests.

At the back entrance, in addition to a washing machine, there is a freezer for storing fishing bait and a preparation area for cleaning fish—creating the perfect environment to fully enjoy the bounty of the sea.

Another charm of Casa TEBA is the freedom to spend your time as you wish. Relax with family or friends, enjoy reading while gazing at the ocean, or take a quiet stroll around the island.
