Ryozenji Temple（Starting temple of the Shikoku 88 Pilgrimage Trail)
Ryozenji is the starting point for the popular 88 temple pilgrimage around Shikoku. The temple here was founded in the 8th century by the monk Gyoki under the direction of Emperor Shomu to offer prayers.
