Yakuoji Temple (23th Temple of the Shikoku 88 Pilgrimage Trail)
Yakuoji Temple is belonging to Koyasan Shingon Sect of Buddhism and is also a famous as 23rd temple of Shikoku Pilgrimage.
This Temple was founded in early of 8th century by the monk Gyoki under the direction of Emperor Shomu to offer prayers.
Yakuoji Temple is believed to be a Temple to get rituals for worshipers to ward off evil spirits.
