Gokurakuji Temple (Second Temple of the Shikoku 88 Pilgrimage Trail)
Just 1km west of Ryozenji is Gokurakuji, the second stop on the pilgrimage trail. The temple's wooden image of a seated Amida Buddha has been designated by the government of Japan as an important cultural asset.
